Moving out...
I've decided while I've been a lil unwell and had a lil more time to learn more on the internet... that I would move out of my Xanga blog and head over to Blogspot. I've been reading some really awesome blogs on blogger and decided to head one up myself. But since I can only deal with one blog site at a time I'm going to have to stop my posts on this site.
So if you'd like to continue following my daily life adventures you can now find me on http://uinisan.blogspot.com You'll realised once you're there that the concept is pretty much the same since I'm only still a beginner to all of this blogging business but I have to admit that Blogspot is a lil complicated but fun.
It's been great starting up my own blog on Xanga becoz it gave me that basic skills on how to do certain things and realised that it's a great way to sorta vent out. Now I can continue doing so somewhere else... It's really an experience to be able to try out all these blog spaces and seeing where you would like to fit in and how you can make your mark in a unique way. So I'll keep experimenting as I go along. Guess that's it folks!!!
I'll see you all here now ----> http://uinisan.blogspot.com
Just drop on by if you have the time and take care (over and out).

M.I.A.
Alright so I'm gonna be missing in action for awhile coz... I'm terribly sick!!! I've started developing this disgusting rash all over my face and body... thought it might be the measles or something...real scary~~~ So I went to the doctors immediately coz it's spreading like crazy she said it wasn't a food or medicine related allergy (or it didn't look that way... all bumps looks the same to me). Instead it was something to do with having a cold virus in my body which I was actually allergic to...Now that's a first can you actually be allergic to a cold virus. I mean I've had colds all the time and I've never been allergic to it... but then again it could be a different strain or something (dunno).
Worst thing is ... it can't be treated and you can only sit it out and wait for it to go away. Man~~~ that was not the answer I was looking for, I really wanted a quick fix sighZ~~~ I'm damn itchy all over and it's killing my sleep time (sleep deprived right now!!!). I'm even afraid to shower coz when warm water hits my skin it's terrifyingly itchy and painful at the same time. Lord help me!!!
I'm heading back to the docs on Saturday so my doc can check out the progress whether it's subsided or whether it's worsened. And right now~~~ it's worsening coz it's spreading bleh~~ Not to mention I'm bored outta my mind just being at home and hiding away from society because of how horrible I look and feel right now... I've only been at home for 3days and I could be insane by the end of the week. Cannot imagine being at home for like 2weeks waiting for my allergic reaction to disappear on it's own with no medicinal assistance...Gosh~~~
Who knows I could be that bored that I just keep blogging so maybe I won't be MIA but I'm just a little tired and lazy while battling this little ordeal of mine. We'll just have to see~~~ I'm just totally shocked how quick the allergy came on (I guess allergies do that but still...) instead of smooth skin I have the most bumpiest skin texture not to mention the spots being red and it definitely ain't pretty to look at ewww-ie~~~ for sure.... I just have to believe that the next week or two will pass swiftly coz I could reach my limits soon (the itchiness is getting to me bad!!!). First acne issues and now this....what else could go wrong? and what's next in line to bring my self esteem down? (tough luck I guess...).
Anyway... if I get bored could do some posts on things I've recently purchased online and some backtracking day out with Sunny and Ida.
Glimpse of what I did look like before my allergy...(old pic really...coz I hate no pics post) but oh how I miss my normal non splotchy skin. Praying that this will never have to happen again hehehehe...
Till I'm better and in the mood again.

Star struck by...P.A.
That's right I got to meet PETER ALEXANDER in person... YAY!!! For those who don't know Peter Alexander is a sleepwear/casual daywear brand from Australia designed by an Australian. The brand itself is a unique concept which all chicks love...maybe because of the splash of pink that appears throughout it's stores and designs. Now I've been in love with this brand for awhile now... ever since I was able to earn some money to buy the garments. My love for it is also well known amongst my friends and that's why I receive pressies of PJs all the time hehehehee...
Sunny and I really wanted to meet him in person after I received an email (coz I'm a online member) saying that he'll be visiting his stores here in Melbourne. So meeting him on his promotional tour around Melbourne was something we had to do...which is why I decided to sleepover at Sunny's place coz it's closer to Chaddy shopping centre.
Wow... here he is!!! He was so friendly and welcoming to all his customers that day there is no wonder the store was packed full of female consumers wanting to meet P.A. in person. A queue started to form for his autographs and photo opportunities so we got in on the action.
"Dream BIG" and "Sweet Dreams" a personal love msg from P.A. to us awww~~~
Now onto what we bought....
I bought this simple black slip and wore it as a little nightie that night it was so light and comfy... and yep also perfect to wear underneath any dress because it's definitely thin enough and you can barely feel you're wearing it. They ran out of all the 'S' (small) sizes so I only bought the intimate black slip but Sunny bought heaps more 3 items in fact and it looks great on her. As a lover of ballet she bought all things ballet related, above she's wearing a one piece pj with ballet shoes and ribbon designs on it with frilly sleeves....so adorable~~~
We had previously seen P.A. at the Melbourne Central store but couldn't approach him due to the many customers inside the store. So we decided to go to Chaddy the next day but had time the night before to write him a personal letter from the both of us and was fortunate enough to hand it to him and hopes he reads it well heheheehe...
That night at Chaddy after meeting P.A. we went on to do more shopping elsewhere then headed for a night movie...
A chick flick indeed hehehehe... It was a long day and we worked long and hard on the personal letter the night before so we got home (Sunny's place) feeling terribly exhausted but happy that we got to meet Peter Alexander....it was definitely the highlight of the day hahaha...We soon got ready for bed and fell asleep not long after and the excitement of the day kept us sleeping well...
Problem is....
hahhhahhahaaahahah.....
Last thing, visit and check out the cute P.A. website http://www.peteralexander.com.au to make online purchases for yourself or gift ideas and be sure to search for your nearest store near you (if you're in Australia)
Did some online hauling which I will share soon and also something dedicated to friendship among my two besties. Stay tuned...
Till next time.

The circus is in town...
Wow... I think it's been years since I've been to the circus and the one that travels around Melbourne is the famous SILVERS circus. When I lived back in my old suburb the Silvers was in town there too and they came around handing out free tickets I believe, so my sis and I got to go for the first time. Although the tent looked big on the outside but it's kinda small on the inside. It was so long ago and I don't really remember much about the acts performed there but I do think it was great entertainment for kids.
And it's still around now...the Silvers circus seems to be following me ahahahhahahah I've moved to another suburb for a couple of years now and recently there have been billboards saying that the circus was coming to the area. In no time the tent and everything was set up... Gosh~~~ it brings back memories of where I used to live and my younger days ahahahahaha
This is the noticable yellow and white striped tent of SILVERS... Taken on a very gloomy day as you can see...
On a better day~~~~ .... Totally Australian, check out the flags flying above hehehehehe...
I won't be going to the circus this time round... I think once is enough coz I really should be saving up my money for some other different entertainment experiences (concerts, trips, movies hahaahahah). Well... that's all I wanna share with you in the meantime. It seems the circus is doing a good job of brightening up the kids and their families...I go grocery shopping and I always hear the kids saying how great it was to their parents.....how cute~~~
Alrighty...Till next time.

Gettin' 2 know me
There has been a tag going around on Youtube and it's a 20 questions one and I love it coz it has an array of questions asking about all areas about a person's faves in life and other things that can be personal but interesting to find out. So I got my hands on a set of the same questions and decided to do it here (blogging rather than video taping hahahahaa, it'll still work). Let's start:
1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?
I definitely cannot leave the house without my entire bag with of course everything I need in there. But the most important things in that bag that I always need are my meds, wallet keys and mobile phone.
2. Favourite brand of makeup?
Hrmm... this is a hard one since I use such a variety from drug store to high end but currently I'm loving UTOWA a japanese brand which can now be purchased in Melbourne at Mecca Cosmetica stores. I'm also liking NARS, M.A.C and Shu Uemura.
3. Favourite flowers?
I have always loved the Gerbera because of the variety of colours it comes in and it just brightens a sad mood (well for me anyway....). It's afterall from the same family as the sunflower.
4. Favourite clothing stores?
Gosh... I barely go shopping nowadays in Melbourne coz it's so expensive but if I had to pick...I'd go for Episode, General Pants Co., Peter Alexander (for PJs), Forever New....
5. Favourtie perfume?
I have 2 faves right now... DKNY Be Delicious (the one in green like a big apple) and the Marc Jacobs Daisy (one with the white floral cap... my bday pressie this year)...
6. Heels or flats?
No brainer for this one ... I'm definitely a flats sorta girl and despite what ppl say about my height and how I should enhance it with some heels....argh!!! forget it ... I'll only wear it when I feel like it or when I think I have to wear it.
7. Do you make good grades?
I've made good grades in high school and wasn't doing too bad till the second year of uni. Now in terms of getting good marks in my 3rd & 4th year at uni...well it wasn't all too bad but I have to admit I could have done better. Keep in mind I have never once failed throughout my uni years so... I guess that's pretty good already hahaahahaa....
8. Favourite colours?
I love green, purple, blue, black and white.
9. Do you drink energy drinks?
Nope, never drink energy drinks even when I had to stay up for cramming or to get a paper done... I just help myself stay awake by giving myself frequent breaks throughout the night I guess...
10. Do you drink juice?
Yep, I love drinking breakfast juice the ones with a variety of fruits mixed into one but right now I'm more into soy milk.
11. Do you like swimming?
First off, I never learnt how to swim well... only know the freestyle and backstroke. But I haven't actually swam in ages now so I'm not too sure I can still do it... Do I enjoy it?... not really I'd rather sit and relax in a spa hahhhahahhaa
12. Do you eat fries with a fork?
Never. No matter where I am I would usually eat fries with my hands. Whether it be at a fast food place or an actual restaurant I'll still use my hands...doesn't taste so great using cutlery don't you reckon?
13. What's your favourite moisturiser?
For the face I'm loving the Kiehl's ultra facial moisturiser and for the body I'm using the Johnson's 24hr moisture rich body lotion (it really lasts the whole day ... just love it).
14. Do you want to get married later on in life?
Ummm... I would hope to get married later on in life ... not right now though or in the NEAR future coz I have never really thought about marriage at all. I guess if it's meant to be it's meant to be but yea... marriage later on in life when my lifestyle is more stable.
15. Do you get mad easily?
I used to get mad real easy...I would have bad tantrums and I guess it was real hard to deal with from my family's perspective coz I was rebellious and stubborn. But I've become a lot more reserved and a lot more calmer towards certain situations and don't get ticked off so easily like I used to. But there is no doubt that there will be times that I'm not too happy about and I make it known... only ocassionally though (rarely)...
16. Are you into ghost hunting?
Never would go and purposely hunt for a ghost coz it can be a little scary I would think if I do come face to face with one.
17. Any phobias?
Oh yea... I have a phobia of heights and balloons. I hate heights because I often dream about falling off some high building, a mountain or cliff or even off a flight of stairs. I hate balloons because I hate the loud pop when they burst and I was once hurt by a huge balloon that bursted right in my face when I was younger that's probably when I started fearing it hahhahahha... I'd walk around the areas where balloons are displayed~~~
(this would be my worst nightmare come true with my two phobias coliding with each other)...18. Do you bite your nails?
Nope. Never do I bite my nails and I don't know why girls would have that habit coz it was very common back in high school. I even thought I was weird since I had no interest in ever biting my nails back then. Instead I loved growing my nails to the point where my mum would have to grab my hands and cut them for me... I'm a lot better now not as lazy and do them myself of course ahahahahah coz I see that long nails aren't so attractive and is less maintenance. I love applying nail polish too so yea I definitely would not bite my nails.
19. Have you ever had a near death experience?
Well there was this one time when I was so stricken down with infection in the bloodstream of my body that I was hospitalised and just couldn't stand the pain anymore. But then again when I think about it there were many times in hospital that things can go wrong and somehow you lose the strength to go on. So it took me forever to get over that infection war and really did think I was about to die but I got over it and now am healthy as anything phew~~~ hahahahaha...
20. Do you drink coffee?
Yep, I've been introduced to coffee at a young age coz my mum drinks coffee every morning for brekkie and I would ask her if I could try some. In uni I just had to drink a cup of coffee a day to get by coz of the hectic schedules and stuff and now that I'm away from the campus centre where I'm always surrounded by coffee I don't drink it that often. But I would always drink it whenever I meet friends at cafes, unless my stomache is feeling ill then I would order chai latte or green tea latte. Mocha is my favourite with just that hint of coffee haahahahaaha...
THE END.

What the... moment no.2
Woah.... another weird find while netsurfing the other night. This one is not only a strange concept but it's kinda spooky looking too~~~~
Introducing the COGIT Sauna Burn Fat Mask and yep... it's another concept from Japan hahahaaha. Here's what it looks like in the packaging....
Kinda reminds me of the pink power ranger mask ahahaahaha Now what it does is that it burns fat throughout your entire face particularly for those who think their faces are too rounded or big looking. This can apparently burn fat around the face for an entire day in comfort!!! It works by having the mask on and with a massaging action helps burn excessive water (guess it heats up somehow acting like a sauna) then takes away the water retention in the face making the face appear smaller...what the???
What it claims to do is not that shocking it's having the mask on that is the shocking part!!!
How can you possibly be relaxed and reading a mag looking like that!!!Then there's the resemblence to....
HANNIBAL LECTER~~~~ Yep... the first thing that crossed my mind was the unforgettable role of Hannibal Lecter played by Sir Anthony Hopkins. I really can't imagine anyone wanting to purchase this sauna mask. I can't even put it on thinking that I'm sufficating myself and looking like an idiot (even if you're doing it in privacy of your own home). Just shocking~~~ and quite odd.... How about just opting for this....
I'm sure most would agree with me that when comparing the two methods... the mask just looks insane!!!! WHAT THE!!!! But then again it is sold in the market and can be bought on http://imomoko.com if anyone is game to try it... or that desperate to~~~
It's probably just me... but I do think it's an extreme way to losing your baby fat (on the face) and yea despite the girly pink colour... the mask just freaks me out overall.
Till next time.

GREASE!!!
It's greasy foods... not the musical movie hahahahaha... Yep...How sensible is this... I was feeling sick today and came home from church exhausted and ended up dozing off till about 9pm. I totally missed dinner as my parents ate without me (seeing that I was dead on the couch hahahaa). Then mum goes "you'll just have to order pizza coz there is nothing for you to eat". And so I did... it's a bad idea and I totally regret it. What sick person would eat greasy pizzas to get better??? Well... I might have been that sick that I wasn't thinking before I ordered~~~ Even called my sister right after I ordered the pizza to tell her how silly I felt about it all hahaahaha...
Shockingly the above was what I ordered...when all I needed is one pizza~~~ Just couldn't help myself ahahahahaa
Cheezy goodness~~~mmm.....
Spicy kickers....
Ok so I only had the ONE slice of pizza from the large size I ordered and a few kickers and a few bites of the chocolate lava cake... Man... I feel soooooo ill~~~ and that's on top of feeling sick beforehand. I like how mum suggested I get pizza when I'm sick as a dog hahahaha... There are sooooo much leftover in the oven right now... I really should have ordered a little less... over ordering is what growing up in Aus has done to me ahahahaha... Definitely need to go on a diet again and I swear this will be the last splurge on junk greasy crap!!!
NOTE TO SELF: Your doctors told you to becareful of your diet and weight WINNIE!!! NEVER FORGET THAT!!!
SighZ~~~~ Porridge on the menu tmr and heaps of rest (good stuff).

Loving Kiehl's and update...
Being lazy as usual with posting some of the things which I've been waiting to share for a long time but kept forgetting to do so...
Now a couple of weeks ago I was fortunate enough to head over to David Jones (DJ) in the city and bumped into an old primary friend who now works at the Kiehl's counter as an assistant manager. Did a quick catch up on the spot while she offered to grab me some samples according to her opinion about my current skin condition.
Here's what I received:
- Amino acid shampoo and conditioner (best seller out of their haircare product ranges)
- Creme de corps nurturing body washing cream
- Ultra facial cleanser
- Ultimate strength hand salve
- Creme de corps (original rich moisturiser)
- Calendula herbal extract toner (alcohol free)
- Yerba Mate tea gel- cream
- Dermatologist solutions: Acne blemish control (daily skin clearing treatment)
- Rare- earth oatmeal (milk facial cleanser)
What else I've tried:
- Blue Herbal gel cleanser (leaves a cooling effect)
- Yerba Mate tea toner (very gentle)
- Ultra facial moisturiser (love this as a day cream under my makeup)
- Kiehl's lipbalm #1 (SPF 4)
Overall, I can't say that I've actually used up all my samples yet ... coz there are just so much~~~ But I'll get there... and out of all these that I've tried and am going to try... I haven't had the need to buy full sizes yet. This is coz these samples actually lasts for ages (believe me). And I never head to the counter expecting my friend to give me samples and honestly just happen to bump into her while thinking that I would actually purchase something but walk out with free stuff that can last me at least a month. *happy happy* heheheehee...
Alright so onto my skin condition right now... even my friend at Kiehl's can tell that underneath the makeup that acne exists. And it's no joke...I'm still suffering from hormonal acne breakouts in my 20s bleh~~~~ Recently it's gotten outta wack to the point where its just sore all over the face (I cannot compare to those who suffer from severe acne, but for me any sorta breakouts kills me). I've never suffered acne problems even in my adolescent years till now (guess it's unavoidable). My sister has a history of severe acne back in high school and man did I feel for her back then but she dealt with the treatment well (medications). Now it's my turn... I went to see the dermo and was prescribed the same stuff as Sylv back when she needed help. These meds unfortunately have many side effects and it's just a matter of dealing with it and being persistent with the whole process. So fingers crossed... But I do do a great job of concealing my acne which many have commented on... thinking that I don't suffer from any acne at all... Either way... will keep an updated post on my progress throughout this acne fighting journey of mine hahahhahaaha...
Ok so I know heaps of girls and boys ranging from teens to young adults are on medications prescribed for acne in order to keep it under control. But I have to admit that you have to exhaust all options before heading down this path coz it aint easy. I've done it all the facial treatments, IPL, microdermabrasion, topical solutions, great skincare routine, eating a healthy diet, sun protection, antibiotics, the pill with acne fighting ingredients in it, fruit extract juices, dietary supplements specifically for skin problems etc. ... so yea...whatever is availale here in Melb I've done it!!! So now it's onto some stronger medicine which only dermotologists can prescribe. If you are having the same problems and you've done all you can... then go to your GP and ask what else can you do? Then seek advice from specialists (coz afterall they know best).
From the above photos (quite close up btw) you can tell clearly that my skin ain't smooth like baby skin and is quite bumpy in areas. My problem areas are the cheeks, chin and believe it or not the jawline where acne pops up frequently sighz~~~ But hey .... what can you do... but to do your best at concealing them sometimes. Mind you I never wear makeup at home and when I get home I IMMEDIATELY remove my makeup and that's crucial. Will share my skincare products and my makeup removal routines in later posts.
P.S. try not to wear too much makeup coz it actually causes bad acne (according to my dermo), but honestly sometimes I can't help it... I don't wear heaps of makeup just enough to take the redness away. And BB creams are the key these days (just a lil tip to finish off).
Till next time. Stay well.
